There are 3 primary caster classes in GW2. the Elementalist, the Mesmer, and the Necromancer. Elementalist is perhaps the most difficult of the three to play since it involves a fair amount of attunement swapping and can quite easily feel like you are trying to play a piano rather than a game… however, the class
It is build. And Warrior has in-sane CC. Just use maces on backbar. But yes, not the best spec to solo bounties. I'd use axe for front bar on ranger instead of dagger. Stacks might too. And Maul - Hilt Bash - Maul - Worldy Impact is pretty impressive damage. All aside, Reaper is pretty much the best for soloing open world group mobs.
110. Posted April 24, 2018. Thief is probably the best at total stealth up-time and vertical mobility. Sadly it isn't all that impressive since most other classes have just as much mobility+nearly as much stealth while being more durable and/or have more dps. Feels bad man :c.
2) Revenant: mid HP with heavy armor, lots of mobility and resustain; maybe the stongest class at soloing PvE at the moment, the core and Herald specs are mostly mele, but the Renegade ranged game is very strong. Viable with bot power and condition stats, meta in almost every facet of the game. A bit more complex to learn, has some annoying bugs.
Thief has very high mobility in general, but not necessarily on d/d. It's probably the only class that can fully utilize d/d build and it's somewhat good in end game pve, but there's also much better choices so it's not very popular build. Most of pvp/wvw builds use only one dagger, main or off hand, depending on build.
. The Sylvari in Ghosts of Ascalon was a Necromancer. She doesn't understand the taboos of why using your dead allies as cannon fodder is a bad thing. It works beautifully. Asura on the other hand, are noted for their cleverness and inventions --- they don't come across as a race that would be fond of necromancers.

Top 5 Guild Wars 2 Best Solo Class 2019 Solo Profession Guild Wars 2, or GW2, offers many different game modes such as dungeons, wvw, and solo play. Thanhe Path of Fire expansion, solo play is one of the most rewarding and fun mode to play.
i dont know best class to grow with, but best race to grow with is probably sylvari. Don't really think engineer is all that difficult or has a high skill ceiling. I'd say ele or mesmer. Especially weaver (ele) and chrono (mesmer) tend to have rotations that are more difficult to wrap your head around.
Started doing wvw a couple of weeks ago and tried several builds from warrior to guardian, revenant, mesmer and i think elementalist. And i have to say elementalist is my absolute favourite. 1. HESDERS1234. • 2 yr. ago. Celestial weaver is my favorite for roaming and power staff weaver for zergs. 1. r/Guildwars2.
