What you need to do is different depending on your team comp and the enemy team comp. If the enemy team is running flankers, stuck near your supports and dm/boop the flankers away with your thrusters and body block when the dm is down. If you're running with a Winston, follow where he leaps and dm when he attracts more than a couple of enemy's
Boosters is D.Va's movement ability, and is extremely versatile due to its low cooldown and long duration. When D.Va activates Boosters, her mech flies forward in the direction she is facing (including vertically) for up to 2 seconds. (The effect can be canceled prematurely by using the ability once more.)
Overview of D.Va. D.Va is arguably one of the most difficult tanks to play in all of Overwatch. When D.Va starts in spawn, she controls (for gameplay purposes, is) a 600-health mech with close range weapons: Fusion Cannons, Micro Missiles, a movement ability: Boosters, and a protective shield: Defense Matrix.
Defense Matrix is a field that D.Va emits that will block most projectiles in Overwatch. It will not block beams like Zarya’s primary fire or Moira’s ultimate (Coalescence). D.Va can use this ability to protect her teammates by “eating” shots and important abilities. Defense Matrix is her alternate fire and she can use it while boosting
Like a D.Va POTG used to start with her setting up and getting in position, throwing her ult into the enemy team, getting a bunch of kills, and then end with getting back in her mech. Recently I saw a D.Va POTG that started after they had tossed their ult at the other team, so there was a second of watching them run around out of mech before
. Dva's ult used to be blocked by small destructible objects, they worked like rein's shield that would suck all the damage. It was stupid, people noticed and got fixed
mercy only gets the ult charge for the demage boost kill if the person she was demage boosting gets the last hit. This is not true. Mercy gets ult charge for each piece of damage amplification. You might be confusing this with the old interaction where damage boosting Widowmaker headshots did not give ult charge.
Dva Mech is insanely strong, keeping it as long as possible is important. Go aggressive on someone and then dva bombing to re-mech. Most times mid fight people don’t have cds to live so dva bombing mid fight will give more value. You can use your dva bomb mid fight to help your team stabilize, if enemy is far it will make it so they can’t
Lol so true its kind of funny how Sig and Eva such an ultimate duo super meta good move to nerf matrix because Sig and Eva can shutdown an entire quickly both have fast ult charge as well. When I play Sig or dva both charge close to the same rate I could be wrong let me know I actually want to know.
Using the Boosters will also require a bit of finesse. While closing distances or flanking enemies are obvious uses, good D.Va players will use them to pull an enemy's attention away from the objective or make D.Va a tougher target to hit. Finally, her Self-Destruct can be an incredibly satisfying ultimate when used properly.
