2. 6- Complicated Citroen Grand C4 Picasso start: Alternator problem . The alternator will recharge the battery of your Citroen Grand C4 Picasso by recovering the energy generated from the engine as soon as you drive. So if it is not functioning correctly, it is likely that your battery is not charging properly and therefore you cannot restart
Citroen C4 Parts costs: £15 - £447 Labour time: 7-17 hours £373 - £1186 Would be a good idea to have the system pressure tested before starting to strip down. Again, shows how vital the extended warranty is.
You can reach fuel pump/gauge by lifting rear passenger seat, under the carpet, from the large circular hole I can send a picture from mine (petrol, mk2) but I'm not sure if it's same in diesel models. Fuel hose connectors were easy to disconnect (if you know the technique, see pic below) and easy to refit.
The wonderful Citroen specialist is Jeff, and yes you're right, the charming front desk guy (Tony) tends to firewall Jeff. I'll give Colliers a call tomorrow and ask them for their advice.
